Elastic Bobble Bind Off Knitting Backwards

Step 1

Knit 2 stitches, pass the second
stitch on your right hand needle over
the first stitch. 

Step 2

(Knit 1, yarn over, knit 1, yarn over, knit one) in the first st on your left hand needle, making 5 stitches out of 1 stitch.

Step 3

Insert the left hand needle from front to back in the back loop of the first stitch on your right hand needle.

Step 4

Wrap the yarn towards you over the left hand needle.

Step 5

Exit the stitch. You have now knitted one stitch backward.

Step 6

Knit the other 4 bobble stitches backward by repeating Step 4 & 5 four times.

Step 7

Knit the 5 bobble stitches.

Step 8

Knit the 5 bobble stitches backward, then knit the 5 bobble stitches as usual.

Step 9

Pass the second stitch on the right hand needle over the first stitch. Repeat this four times.

 
You have completed the bobble.

Step 10

Pass the second stitch on the right hand needle over the first stitch. 

Step 11

Knit 1. 

Step 12

Pass the second stitch on the right hand  needle over the first stitch.

Step 13

Start elastic bind off; knit 1.

Step 14

Insert the left hand needle in the front loops of the 2 stitches on the right hand needle, knit the stitches together.

Step 15

Work Step 13 & 14 eight times more; you have bound off 9 stitches using the elastic bind off technique.

Work Step 2 – 15 until there are 3 stitches on your left hand needle. Make bobble, pass the second stitch on the left hand needle
over the first stitch, and bind off the last 2 stitches.
