Evo

And the autumn moon is bright  *

The shaped front and back panels of Evo’s richly textured, tactile design are as eye-catching as they are flattering. The braids (which are worked without the need for a cable needle) flanked by columns of twisted stitches and the twisted ribbed trims emphasize the clean, graphic lines of the sweater. The simple reverse stockinette background keeps the look classic and
understated. The sweater has a neat, but comfortable fit, which you can customize to your liking and style through optional shaping.

CONSTRUCTION
Evo is worked seamlessly from the top down. The first part of the yoke is worked flat. After the final cast on for the neckline, the yoke is joined for working in the round. Raglan increases are worked to the underarm, where sleeve stitches are placed on hold to work the body top down to the bottom. Sleeve stitches are then placed back on the needles. Then your work is turned inside out, to enable working the sleeves in stockinette stitch (knit every round) instead of reverse stockinette
stitch (purl every round). Neckline finishing is worked last.

The pattern includes instructions for horizontal bust darts and/or waist shaping. The darts and the shaping are optional; instructions for a sweater with and without darts and/or shaping are given.
