Birgitz

Seeking hazardous adventures  *

Birgitz is an engaging knit with stunning results. The slightly slouchy shape will look good on almost everyone, and will keep you warm for many adventures to come.

CONSTRUCTION
Birgitz consists of five textured panels which incorporate cables, bobbles and twisted stitches. The cables flowing into these panels start at the bottom of the twisted rib brim.Carefully placed decreases ensure the pattern continues up into the crown.

The hat is knitted seamlessly from the bottom up. As you begin to decrease at the crown, when there are too few stitches to fit comfortably on circular needle, change to needle(s) for working small circumferences in the round. The pompom is optional, and will take approximately 30 gr of yarn.

Two sets of instructions are given. If you prefer to work from written instructions follow the instructions under WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS. If you prefer to work from charts, follow the instructions under CHARTED INSTRUCTIONS.
