Please plan your arrival on the island between 3 and 5 pm, so you don’t miss out on any of the excitement!
If you’re arriving by public transport, we’ll be there to greet you at the Texel side of the ferry terminal.
Upon your arrival at Nieuw Leven, a warm welcome awaits you, complete with refreshing aperitifs and tasty appetizers. Once everyone has comfortably settled in, it’s time to reveal the KnoT25 swag bag and present the KnoT25 design.
Our culinary maestro, chef Karin, will tantalize our taste buds with a sumptuous 3-course dinner, leaving you satisfied and ready for the rest of the evening. The remainder of the night is yours to enjoy as you wish – whether that’s knitting, cycling, exploring the picturesque surroundings, or simply unwinding by the fireplace.

Your day kicks off with a delightful breakfast featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, prepared by the chefs at Nieuw Leven.
After that, our knitters can join Florence or Natasja for an engaging knitting class. Lunch will be prepared by Karin and Barbara, and in the afternoon there will be knitting classes again, this time hosted by Florence or Renske.
Meanwhile, Chihiro will be at the pop-up shop, ready to assist with all your yarnie needs.
As the day winds down, prepare for a lovely evening at KnoT25 Knit Night, hosted at a cool beach club typical for Texel. Here, you’ll be served a beach club dinner while watching the sun set over the horizon. And for the adventurous souls among us, there will be ample time for a leisurely seaside stroll, creating memories to last a lifetime.

Today, our agenda is a mix of knitting and exploring Texel’s beauty. We’ll kickstart the day with a delicious breakfast by Nieuw Leven. Afterward, there’s a knitting class with Natasja or Florence.
Following the creative morning session, Karin will serve up a tasty lunch, setting us up for an island adventure. We’ll visit an authentic sheep farm and will get a tour through their cheese factory. Natasja will also guide us to some of Texel’s most picturesque and Instagram-worthy spots, offering plenty of opportunities for stunning photos.
In the evening, we’ll gather for a delightful dinner prepared by chef Karin.
After dinner, you can choose to continue knitting, or for those who are interested, engage in a lively game of bingo or two.
Day 4
Saturday, June 14 / 21, 2025
Today will be about knitting, unwinding, and enjoying everything the island has to offer at our own leisurely pace. Nieuw Leven will once again provide a delightful breakfast, followed by our knitters joining Florence or Renske for their final class.
After a tasty lunch prepared by Karin, there will be private time to knit, swim, use the spa facilities or hop on one of the e-bikes to explore the island further. And don’t forget to visit our pop-up shop, here Chihiro will be joined by Renske and the very talented project bag designer Annette, showcasing their beautiful goods.
Of course, if you have other thoughts on how to spend your time, just let us know and we will help you with arrangements.
As for the evening, Karin will be ready for us with a delicious dining experience, and the remainder of the evening can be spent knitting, chatting and relaxing.
